AC Paving, LLC, a leading Asphalt/Paving Company are looking for an asphalt/concrete paving estimator.

Job Description:

Develop a strong customer base through customer relations and negotiating skills. Accurately price and estimate work in various segments including Residential, Commercial and Municipal/DOT. Manage all aspects of paving contracts including contract administration, subcontractor coordination/payment, and job cost tracking, collections, and project close out.

Requirements:

• Minimum of 3-5 years estimating experience in asphalt industry required, Project Management and Field Supervisory experience a strong plus
• Strong understanding of paving, sub-grade and related subcontractor operations
• Must have the ability to develop professional relationships with customer representatives and officials from local agencies
• Must be self-motivated and have the ability to work with limited supervision
• Strong communication skills, both one on one and in group settings within and outside of the organization

Duties:

• Prepare bid packages, estimates, analysis of subcontractor bids, etc. for various sized commercial and residential projects.
• Interact with customer, architects/engineers and contractors to provide information for cost data regarding project feasibility.
• Maintains current, accurate information on pricing and cost variance.
• Follow up on job progress and status of estimates and/or payments for jobs completed.
